Please be vigilant when entering and exiting the school gates,particularly as you must cross a pedestrian pathway and extreme caution is required.It is often very difficult to see small children and indeed other pedestrians, and we must remember that pedestrians have the right of way. What does the Muckross Parents Association do?
· Organises social activities including the First Year Parents’ evening; Second Year Wine Tasting evening. A social event is usually planned for each Year
· Fund-raises to improve school facilities. The Parents’ Association played a significant role in providing the Astro turf pitch
· Helps at School events such as the Festival of Carols and the School Musical
· Produces a Newsletter for parents twice a year
· Organises occasional events for parents and students such as a CAO Information Session for Sixth Year students and Study Skills seminars
· Responds to changing times– the Parents’ Association developed the recently launched texting service whereby the School will communicate information to parents by text
· Provides a forum to represent the views of parents to the Principal and Board of ManagementClick Herefor Brochure
