Trinity College Dublin Open day is on next Saturday Jan. 22nd   -   10.00am to 2.00pm

 

NCI next Open Day is on Wed. March 30th  -  11.00am to 2.00pm

 

IT Blanchardstown Open Evening on Wed. January 19th  - 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

 

NCAD closing date for portfolio submissions for AD111 is Friday  February 4th.

 

 

Colleges of Further Education are now holding their Open Days as follows:

 

 

Whitehall College of Further Education    -  Wed. January 19th  from 11.00 to 3.00pm.

 

Bray College of Further Education            -  Fri. January   21st   from  10.00 to 4.00pm.

 

St. Kevin’s College, Pearse College, Crumlin College - combined Open Day Tues. 25th Jan.

Ballsbridge College of Further Education – Wed. January 26th  from 11.ooam to 3.00pm.

 

Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education – Wed. January 26th from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

 

Rathmines College of Further Education  -  Wed. January 26th   from 1.00  to 6.00pm.

 

Sallynoggin College of Further Education – Thurs. January 27th  from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

 

Colaiste Ide College of Further Education – Thurs. February. 3rd  from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

 

Inchicore College of Further Education – Fri. February 4th from 9.30om to 3.00pm.

 

Killester College of Further Education – Tues. February 8th from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.

 

Ballyfermot College of Further Education – Wed. February 9th from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

 

NOTE:

These colleges are PLC and they award Fetac levels  5 and 6 in a large number of courses, many of which are linked to the HEIs (Universities and IT,s) Application form and interview.

There are reserved places in the linked colleges on many degree courses for students to progress from Fetac 5 or 6 to level 7 (ordinary degree) and level 8 (honours degree)

 

This progression is competitive and is dependent on your Fetac course results.

Please register with CAO today or before Thurs. Jan, 20th. 5pm and pay €30 instead of €40!

You will be given your CAO no. immediately and please put it in your phone as you need access to it for all contact with CAO re your application.

There is no need to put in any courses at this stage unless you want to, as July 1st is the closing date for finalising your course lists.
